Why
The problem is not a lack of knowledge. It is a lack of speed. Cities move in legislative periods. The climate does not.
Klima.City connects people, ideas and resources to accelerate the transition to climate-neutral cities.
We are developing an open platform to bring citizens, experts, companies and city officials together. It connects local ideas with knowledge, partners and resources to help turn them into sustainable urban projects and interventions.
Created with ♡ in Düsseldorf, for cities worldwide.
+77%
Approximately 65 million | 77.7% of us live in cities in Germany.
2035 – 2050
The goals are set. Now the plans need support and execution.
Now.
Not after the next election. Not after the next study. Now.
About us
We help cities accelerate climate neutrality and urban quality of life by turning complex data into interactive, publicly accessible tools that connect understanding, participation and action.
Initiated and developed by Alexandru Dan — Dipl.-Ing. Architect AKNW and founder of renature Architektur in Düsseldorf. With more than ten years of experience in sustainable architecture and urban development, I am building Klima.City as a set of tools to make sustainable urban development faster, clearer and more effective.
